Dear TRICARE Beneficiaries, Pride Pharmacy Welcomes You

On Dec. 1, 2016, CVS and CVS pharmacies in Target stores will no longer be in the TRICARE network. Transfer today to avoid any missed doses.
 

IMPORTANT

If you are currently filling your specialty prescriptions at CVS or CVS pharmacies in Target stores, you should transfer them to another TRICARE pharmacy to avoid paying the full retail price for your medication.

What You Need to Know

• - If a CVS pharmacy is currently filling your specialty prescription drugs, you must move them to a network pharmacy by Dec. 1.
     Otherwise, you will have to pay the full retail price* for your drugs.
• - You can transfer your specialty drugs to Pride Pharmacy at any time, since they’re part of our specialty select network.
• - Beginning Dec. 1, the select specialty retail and independent pharmacies for TRICARE beneficiaries are
     Pride Pharmacy in San Diego, Rite-Aid, Walmart, Kroger and Walgreens.
• - Beginning Dec. 1, you can transfer and fill your prescriptions.

Convenient Ways to Transfer Prescriptions to a New Pharmacy

• - Take your prescription drug bottles to the new pharmacy. The pharmacist there will contact your old pharmacy.
• - Call your new pharmacy and have them get your prescription drug information from your old pharmacy.
• - Ask your doctor to send your prescription drug information to your new pharmacy.
   

Military Pharmacies

Call your military pharmacy, where there is no cost to fill your specialty prescription, and ask whether your drug is available at the MTF before you transfer the prescription from a retail network pharmacy. Visit tricare.mil/mtf for contact information.
